Atlanta, Georgia | Ralph’s role: Manager of Athlete Care

On the recommendation of the United States Olympic Committee, Ralph was hired by the Atlanta Committee for the Olympic Games (ACOG) as Manager of Athlete Care for the 1996 Centennial Olympic Games. This selection took Ralph to Atlanta for eighteen months of planning, implementation and management of all medical and performance operations for the Atlanta Committee for the Olympic Games.

Ralph’s duties included design of venue medical stations, recruitment of medical personnel, engagement of local and regional hospitals. He wrote policy and procedures for each sport venue and built collaborative operation processes across all elements of the Games.
